KK Athiban was founded by Mr. K Kuthalingam. He conceived the brand in 1973 when he established KK Rice Mill. As a well-established brand, KK Athiban is exported all over Kerala. A single variety of paddy known as ASD-16 alone is procured from all over Tamil Nadu, double-boiled as part of the parboiling process, and carefully packed with quality in mind.
